 FOOTBALL

Our website is: http://hhsmflagfootball.tripod.com , Please check it often.

7th Grade Division: Will be starting in Spring 2008

8th Grade Division: Will be starting in Spring 2008

*9th Grade Division : Please make sure that all players bring both jerseys to all games with their maroon shorts.

Firstly, we would like to thank every parent for being so involved with the team. This will make everything run smoother and give it a more family atmosphere. We are all parents in this with a goal of helping the players get a better opportunity to succeed.

Just a few things that we felt should be shared (Please Read):

Signatures: All signatures are now in, Thank you.

Uniforms: Instead of a reversible Jersey, we had to purchase 2 Under Armor TYPE Jerseys, 1-Maroon and 1-White and 1 Maroon pair of shorts for each player. The Jersey cost was a lot more than was allotted on the budget, this is because the boy’s arms and chest wouldn’t fit in the Basketball Jerseys that we priced.

Mouthpiece: We were just notified that your son should have a strapless mouthpiece. They can be purchased at Wal-Mart for .99. Please mould them for better protection. Please make sure that they have them for practices and tournaments. Carry them in a sandwich baggy.

Food & Jerseys: Due to the fact that this was a last minute activity, most of us were in a position to provide half the deposit, and that’s understandable.  Please send your player with money to eat for the day including $5.00 for CiCi’s afterwards. Some tournaments will be from early in the morning till late in the afternoon.

If you paid the registration fee in full, then your child’s CiCi’s money is accounted for, they will only need money to eat and drink during the tournaments. On May 25th or as soon as we can get the other half of our deposit in, your player’s CiCi’s money will be accounted for.

Coaches will also have water for the players. Player’s may also bring their own lunches to the tournaments. Please remember sunscreen and some type of cover: hat, umbrella, etc. Remember to drink plenty of liquids 1 day prior to the tournaments to combat dehydration. Pickle juice will also help. Carbohydrates are also good to eat the night before a competition. Get plenty of rest.

ALLERGIES:

Games: Game schedules, times and field locations will be posted on Wednesday Night of that week on our website. Also, posted will be the time we are LEAVING Jack in the Box on 1417 & Route 75 on Saturday morning. Please be prompt, because we have to leave on time.

Rides: Thank you for understanding that this is a joint effort and we are all making sacrifices for the guys to play. Please drive on the weekends that you do not work. We will need parents to drive each weekend. If you are able to drive, please do so and let us know how many extra players that you will be able to take with you and what weekends we can count on you.  We only have 14 players so we don’t need everyone to drive every week, but we do need at least half.

If you can’t find the answer on the website or have any questions then please call  or email: Tom Long.

Meet Your Coaching Staff:
Please be patient as we are still constructing this website. Thank You

Fine Print: Due to UIL regulations, neither school coaches, nor school affiliation is permitted in these tournaments. This is a team endorsed and engineered by dedicated parents and volunteers. Also, there will not be any parent coaching whose son is on a team. A team must be made up of players in the same  shool district.
